Who completes my review?
We're privileged to be able to work directly with a worldwide team of expatriate financial experts, ensuring that the person who completes your review will be the best qualified specialist for your individual circumstances.
In order to ensure that we get you in touch with the very best specialist for you circumstances we complete a short phone based fact find so that we know which country you're resident in, how long you plan to stay, what type of savings you want a better interest rate for.
Based on that we will recommend a specialist reviewer who can help you to find a better deal for your savings.
Will I be bothered by sales people?
No. We don't have a product to sell. Our review is both free of cost and any obligation to follow up on any recommendations that we make.
We rely on the quality of our review to work for us not sales teams.
Are you regulated to give advice?
The generic information that we provide is only journalistic and not intended as advice. However the personalisation of your review can be considered financial advice, therefore every one of the financial experts we work with are fully regulated to give advice. You will be given full details of all the financial regulations of any expert we recommend and we will never pass your details onto them until you're 100% happy to speak to them.
Can you help with existing savings and investments?
Yes. It may be that you only want confirmation that you have already chosen well. We don't fix things if they aren't broken. If your current savings show top performance then we'd just recommend that you pop by for a regular review just to make sure they stay that way. If we see that we can get you a savings account that offers much more than you're currently getting we'll make sure you know about it.
How do you get better interest rates?
Research and negotiation. We find the institutions who are keenest for new business and able to step up to the plate with attractive interest rate offers, then we negotiate with them for an even better deal based on the huge number of expat savers who come to us for a review every day of the week.
The power of numbers does work when it comes to getting savers a better rate of interest.
Will I send any money to you?
Absolutely not. If we find you a savings account that gets you the interest rate you were looking for then we will simply make it easy for you to set up your account with them. You will only ever send money directly to the financial institution.
As we've explained our income comes from the small new account opening referral fee that all financial institutions pay. Our soul motivation is to find you a better savings account, if we don't, we don't stay in business.
Couldn't I just take your review and contact the companies myself?
Of course you can and we wouldn't get a referral fee, but we find very few expats do that, in fact most are very happy to mention us and to ensure we receive a little money for the help we provide.
Can I really get a review as often as I want
Well you've probably got better things to do than to get your savings reviewed every week, but that said, yes, any time you're worried that the market may have changed and you want the reassurance that you're still in the best accounts you can contact us.
In fact we do better than that. If we see a change that could result in you not getting the best deal for your savings we'll contact you via email to let you know.
For most people a yearly review is enough to ensure strong savings and investment performance are being maintained.
